Public Funding for Research & Development in Australia

According to the most recent Science, Research and Innovation (SRI) Budget Tables, the Australian Government has made a total investment in R&D of $11.8 billion during the 2021-22 period. Whilst this is a reduction of $184 million from the previous year, there are still plenty of opportunities, public funding programs, and grants available for R&D. However, these are often competitive, lengthy, and require a lot of prior planning and co-funding to success.

Discover the different sources of public funding available to you, the types of programs you are eligible for, what it takes to apply for the R&D Tax Incentive, how to find the right grant program for your organisation, and other R&D funding opportunities.

Join us in this webcast and take a look at the current R&D spending trends, to determine the type of grant you should be applying for, find out more about the application process, what it takes to write a successful application, co-funding requirements, and more.
